Physical Access Control
TAP Security provides a highly secure access control system designed to protect access to secure areas or restricted zones in a building. TAP Security physical access control systems can integrate with existing security systems and provides an enhanced layer of security, through the use of access control technology. TAP innovative products bring advanced functionality, usually found in large systems, to the SMB market, at very affordable prices. TAP software, controllers and RFID readers provide complete solutions, while also being able to use readers of any technology available on the market, if needed. TAP Security provides wired systems, as well as ZigBee wireless communications devices.
Single Door Solutions
Our Point product family provides flexibility and sophistication to the small to medium market, at a highly cost effective prices. The Point products can use TAP readers, as well readers provided by virtually any manufacturer in the world. Expanding existing installations is a breeze, since no new tags have to be issued to tag holders.
The product line includes:
PointAX – Single door control panel for up to 999 tag holders, and 99 access levels. Any type of reader can be used. Unit can be programmed and interrogated using the PMT (see below).
PointEN – A PointAX derivative, mainly geared toward the small hospitality business. Used to save expenses by managing A/C and lighting while guests are away from the room.
PointRX – Low power RFID reader using price effective tags and cards.
Point Mobile Terminal (PMT) – A hand held terminal for programming the PointAX and PointEN control panels, with information from PC, and return events to PC software for viewing and printing.
Door Network Solutions
Our Net product family supplies highly advanced features at a small system price to the customer. Multi-door interlock, multi-type anti-passback and "traffic light" counters are among the many more features that can be found in the system.
The product line includes:
GateKeeper computer software – Access control software with a very user friendly interface. Can control up to a thousand doors in online or offline mode (using the PMT).
NetETH – Ethernet networkable control module, for controlling and communicating with up to 128 doors. The NetETH stores the latest 1,000,000 event records, coming from the control panels connected to it. It also stores up to 100,000 tag records.
NetAX – Single door networkable control panel, connected to a NetETH.
NetNX – A 2 to 32 expandable door cluster controller. The NetNX uses NetIOX I/O expansion modules for connecting to door locks and readers.
NetIOX – A two door interface I/O expansion card. Can be cascaded for creating a cluster of up to 32 doors.
NetLOG – A single door networked unit for managing logistic center platform rolling doors. The unit will shut the door to conserve A/C energy.
