The PointEN system provides the hospitality industry with a cost effective way of managing access to rooms, together with savings in electric bills,all year around.
The system provides a perfect solution for guesthouses and bungalows.The guest key tag is used for opening the door when presented to the RFID reader outside, and enabling the electricity in the room, when put into the reader receptacle inside the room. Putting any other tag in the energy reader will not activate the room electricity. The system can be programmed to turn off the electricity after 1 to 99 minutes from the time the guest removes the tag from the recptacle.
The electricity can be turned on automatically on specific days and times, using one of the access levels.
The room control unit facilitates local programming for smaller installations. A hand-held unit is available for larger installations.
The system contains:
- PointEN room control panels. Each panel has a real-time-clock and memory for 250 tags and 1000 latest events.
- PointRX Access control RFID readers.
- PointRX Energy management RFID readers.
- Optional hand held programming and interrogation unit.
- Optional computer software for managing setup and displaying events collected from the control panels using the hand held unit.
