GateKeeper

The GateKeeper system is targeted at medium to large installations, with 10 to 1,000 doors, up to 100,000 users and millions of events per year.

The system is comprised of:

•  GateKeeper PC software, facilitating advanced handling of doors, users, access levels and events. The GateKeeper software comes bundled with a desktop enrollment reader.
• NetETH Ethernet adaptors, each connecting up to 128 doors to PC via a 10BaseT line.
• NetAX - networkable single door access controller.
• NetNX – Door cluster controller (2 to 32 doors).

The system contains a real time clock for marking events with date/ time stamps. Each user tag is checked against from/to date validity, day of week and holiday validity, and multiple times slots per day.

Each network interface controller always contains the latest 1,000,000 events, for reporting to the PC, in case of communication down-time.

Special system functionality (partial list):

• The system facilitates multiple door groups for interlock, traffic light and anti-passback modes.
• Auto door open using access levels.
• Specific tag flagging with/without door opening.
• Extra long unlock interval for users needing more time to open door.
• Two-man rule per door.
• Private access level record per user.
• Delayed unlock mode for safes and security rooms.
• User picture pop-up for specified doors.
• Each day of the year may belong to up to eight special day groups (holidays).
